No engagement is complete unless it is live, two-way, and direct.
Converso has run 600+ telephone town halls for Canada's governments — budget consultations, constituency engagement, emergency communications, and stakeholder campaigns. Fully managed. Every voice on the record.
"I have had experience working with Converso and their primary contacts for more than seven years on numerous projects and roles. I have used Converso's services during times of urgency (wildfires, floods, Covid, etc.), and have experienced firsthand their ability to adjust, pivot and execute professional services regardless of the changing details, timelines or urgency. The customer service offered and provided by Converso regularly exceeded my expectations, including being highly responsive, providing timely advice, and rapidly completing deliverables. They have been a valued engagement partner for many complex projects in the past, and I can attest to their ability to continue to deliver outstanding engagement services in the future."
Canadians want to be consulted. They don't feel heard.
The gap between what the public expects and what they experience is what every government is now paying for — at the ballot box, in the news cycle, and in the trust deficit. Converso closes that gap.
We are the direct channel between government and the public.
Not a survey. Not a comment box. A live, two-way conversation on the phone, at scale, with every voice on the record. In a single Alberta budget consultation, over 285,000 Albertans connected directly with their government. That infrastructure is available for your next engagement.
Every engagement type, fully managed.
From pre-budget consultations to wildfire emergency response, Converso handles every detail so your team can focus on the conversation.

Explore Emergency Response →Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo: Fort McMurray Emergency Response
When the 2016 Fort McMurray wildfire forced mass evacuations, the RMWB turned to Converso for daily multi-agency town halls. For 17 consecutive days during active emergency, Converso ran live, two-way briefings — connecting displaced residents with the Premier, Deputy-Premier, Minister of Municipal Affairs, the Public Affairs Bureau, and utility providers simultaneously. Over 161,000 residents were reached across those 17 events.
Four years later, a 1-in-100-year flood struck during COVID-19 lockdowns. The RMWB called Converso again. Across five town hall events, Converso connected over 29,000 participants with the Mayor, MLAs, the Red Cross, Alberta Emergency Management Agency, and the Insurance Bureau of Canada — providing real answers when residents needed them most.

Alberta Wildfires 2023 — 22 Town Halls. 48 Communities. One Month.
At the peak of Alberta's 2023 wildfire crisis, over 38,000 residents across 48 communities were under evacuation orders. Over 1,000 wildfires had burned more than 2.2 million hectares — ten times the province's five-year average. The Government of Alberta turned to Converso.
Beginning May 9, Converso ran 21 consecutive 90-minute evacuee-focused telephone town halls over 25 days, plus a province-wide readiness town hall before evacuations were ordered. Speakers included the Premier or designate, Ministers and Deputy Ministers of Public Safety, Forestry, and Health, the RCMP, the Director of Emergency Management, the Insurance Bureau of Canada, and the Provincial Wildfire Director.
Converso also delivered over 15,900 SMS messages directly to registered evacuees, keeping residents informed between events. Audio recordings were posted online after each event for those who missed the live session.
"In 2023, Alberta media used citizen questions from TTHs to shape wildfire press briefings the next morning."

What government procurement teams ask us.
Can we sole-source this? +
Yes, in most cases. Converso is on Vendor of Record lists in Alberta and Ontario, and on Standing Offer in Manitoba — which provides a pre-approved procurement pathway for public and broader public sector clients in those provinces. In other provinces, sole-source justifications are routinely approved based on our unique service model, established track record, and specialized expertise. We provide full documentation to support your procurement team.
How quickly can you mobilize for an emergency? +
Within hours. We have run emergency telephone town halls from initial call to live event in under four hours. Our team is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, every day of the year. For active emergencies, do not use a contact form — call us directly at 1-888-982-9594.
Is the platform accessible to residents without internet? +
Yes — this is one of the core advantages of the telephone town hall format. Residents participate using any phone, with no app download, no internet connection, and no account required. This is especially important for rural, remote, elderly, and low-income populations who are often underrepresented in online engagement. Bilingual events in English and French are available, and events can be designed for additional accessibility requirements on request.
What does the post-event report include? +
Every Converso event includes a 16-point post-event report covering: total participation and attendance by channel, call duration analytics, geographic participation breakdown, complete Q&A transcript categorized by theme, live poll results with full response breakdowns, and a full audio recording of the session. Reports are formatted for cabinet or council briefing, and are typically delivered within 48 hours of the event.
Canada's governments trust Converso.
